How much to spend for an Independent-Skilled Immigration to Australia

This is the question most often asked by those interested to pursue migration.  The answer however will most likely put-off most people and shrug-off the idea of migrating to Australia.  Unlike Canada, application fee is approximately
half compared to Australia and I believe they do not have fees for skills assessment.  I have to admit, it is relatively expensive, that's why I stated in the previous post that you have to really get yourself together, get your family's support and make that decision. As such, to help answer the big question of how much do you really need to spend, I have dedicated a page in this site about Budget and Expenses.

Do take note, my dear readers, I hope you allow me keep my identity private (for now) thus the cost I published are just approximations.  The figures I have posted should give you a general idea and eventually help you prepare and decide to pursue the application.

It is also noteworthy that you consider the time that this entries were made.  The first 3 months of expenses were spent last 2010 and the rest, onwards.  Fees and rates during your application may or may not change.  At the same time, there are plenty of factors that will make your budget and expense differ from mine.  Nevertheless, it is very helpful for you to keep maintain a list and spent and foreseen expenses.
